Bonkers

First off, the SBQ. Today's "Stitching Blogger's Question" was suggested by Carol( http://carolsxsblog.blogspot.com/) and is: What is the most challenging specialty stitch you have ever stitched?
I don't think I've ever really done major specialty stitches. I still have trouble with the french knot, and am totally planning on getting someone to show me how to do it right this weekend.

CATS started today, and while I could totally be there right now, I've decided to wait until tomorrow. Don't think it's not tempting to go. Unfortunately, I had other things to do. I dropped Joshua off at school, then drove to the doctor to get my stitches removed, spent a bit of time at home painting my nails (which I've already messed up, by the way), then back to pick up Joshua. I have to pack this afternoon because I have choir practice at 6:30. I'm busy, but excited. I have a list of things I'd like to buy. Oh, and with the thing about Hershey Park, I didn't mean we all had to go as a group, I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone who might be interested. My sister commented that she is willing to go, which is great since all of the roller coasters will be running, and I haven't had a chance to ride Storm Runner yet.

Has anyone ever used Olde Willow Stitchery threads before? Ever heard of them? There was a chart for a Halloween door hanger in The Cross Stitcher (US) this month that I would like to do that calls for those threads. I'm not sure if they're something I could find at the stitching festival this weekend, or if they're something I can only get from a certain supplier. I wrote the colors I would need down jsut in case. It's a smallish project, and one that would be fun to work on in October. I'd probably be able to finish it by Halloween, too.

I hope everyone else is as nutty as I'm feeling right now. I'll see some of you tomorrow, to everyone else, have a good weekend! I'll be back with lots of pictures. And Mia, we will be thinking of you and looking forward to next year when you'll be there, too.

Cathy, have tons of fun at CATS. Do some shopping in my honor, okay? (Meaning by twice as much for yourself lol) You may just find the threads you need there. Last year, I got GAST, WDW and Crescent Colors along with the Caron threads (I didn't need any Caron). I can't remember the name of the booth but there is one that has tons of different types of threads and they are all hanging. If I remember, I will comment again. Have tons of fun and I will be thinking of you. Give Jo a big hug from me and make sure you get one from her (from me)
